Detroit is out with Hronek, Seider and Lindstrom RD is the one position they don't need. Plus if they did need a RD Drysdale will be there at #4 and won't cost any assets to get.

They are stacked at RW too. Doesn't make sense for the Flyers.

I expecting that Ghost will bounce back, since he's been dealing with injuries, and that in the next year or 2 Jake is going to start declining.

Maybe a 1 for 1 LD for RD makes more sense.

Danny “Brickwall” DeKeyser and ... hmmm ..... nobody once Nemeth is shipped off at the TDL. When was the last time he played LD?

Yes and I obviously didn't read the description either.

Sanheim played RD when our only other RD was Radko Gudas, and we had 6 other LD. He was OK, but is better on the left.

That's fair. I personally don't believe he will bounce back and I think that's too risky to put that much faith in him as a contender.

Provorov Niskanen
Sanheim Myers
Ghost Braun

Is a great blueline for a contender.

No arguments there.

I'm also very high on Zamula, thinking he could take over at 2LD in 2 years. Good problem to have i guess.

After reading the description I honestly doubt Detroit even puts in a bid. They just don't have enough pieces in place to trade 2 players for 1. Unless you want Bowey and Erne or Perlini which I'm pretty sure you don't.

I don't see JVR as a cap dump problem. i think a few teams would be willing to give up a pick or two and be willing to eat his cap hit. I would include him only if the players coming back have higher cap hits.

Seider for Cam York?

No Detroit wouldn't do that. There have been a few Toronto AGMs with Marner for Seider and even Toronto fans are saying it wont happen.

sevenleg and clapperzzzzzzz disagree.

Ok. I don’t know what they’re thinking, but Montreal obviously doesn’t need LD, so it makes no sense to trade for one.

Not yet but unless he finally has a breakout season I think Detroit will consider trading Mantha.

i'm going to assume a 1st rounder, if you don't specify.

Was thinking a 2nd. Maybe a top 10 protected 2021 1st and philly adds back like a 3rd or something

I only found 2 or 3 players on the hawks depth chart that meet my specs and that I would actually trade sanheim for. Guessing you wouldn't want to lose them though.

Unrelated: did you know you have a guy named chalupa? How his parents didn't name him beef, I don't know.

My favorite offer so far. Scared that all stromes points are because of his linemates though, but he is still young. I'm going to make the trade and edit the lineup to see what it looks like.

Lehkonen (plays both wings consistently) + Josh Brook + STL 2020 2nd rd pick for Sanheim + Ratcliffe

and before some fellow Habs fans say we don't need another LD.... I'd trade Mete after acquiring Sanheim.
