The TOR trade is awful. Kap is not worth that much and Holl is an AHL level defense man.

Kap has a lot of intrigue, he's a top 9 forward with PK and speed. Holl is a top 4 D. If you have watched him this year, he has had a huge jump and is playing shutdown minutes against top talent and has been able to stop them

I've been a big believer that the Leafs need to move on from Andersen sooner than later and Murray is a guy to target for multiple reasons (age, 2x cup champ, Dubas connection, and likely low value due to inconsistent play).. Kapanen would likely be the guy going out, and I think Kapanen has more value than Murray. But goalie is a more premier position so I can see Toronto overpaying for a prime aged 2x cup winning goalie. I don't think they move Holl or any d-man since they're depth just isn't there to do so. But I think the parameters for a deal are there. Something I've suggested in the past along similar lines looked like this:

Kasperi Kapanen
2022 TOR 2nd round pick
2022 TOR 5th round pick

Holl is a turn over machine.
And Kap is a mid 6 winger.
Both of those together wouldn't get you Murray.
Murray can play damn good hockey. When/if they move him, it's gonna be for a better package than that. Even if it's just dumping cap space.
