Even if Muzzin turns out to be completely okay and the stretcher was just a precaution (which I very much hope is the case), could he be out for the series because he had to leave the bubble to go to the hospital? I believe it's 4 straight days of negative tests before you can come back.

Thoroughly disagree. He should 100% have been penalized, but the injury was not a direct enough result of the crosscheck to warrant a suspension. He went down from the crosscheck stumbled on his way back up and fell into whoever's knee (at least based on my memory, I haven't watch the replays of it).

I thought they just meant the teams medical staff and of course the paramedics or whatever, but I don't think there is an actual hospital in the bubble. Could be wrong though...

They were talking about how they have medical services for injuries. I doubt that means surgery type stuff, but I think they are ready for most injuries.

I don't see anything that would constitute a suspension on that hit. Looked very harmless without a replay and even with that, he just sort of nudged him. No intent to injury.

Hitting someone in the numbers with a cross check is 100% suspendable. Watch the replay with the camera angle from the back.

If that was a legal hit a lot more players would be getting injured. He could have went head first into the boards.

I have now. Me memory served me well in this instance. Not a suspension. You see crosschecks like that or worse very often and very rarely does it result in more than a penalty.

It wasn't that bad, he sort of lost balance and caught an edge. You are judging this by the result not what actually happened.

Hitting is part of the sport but those kinds of hits greatly increase the risk of injury. I just don't want players to get injured. It's as simple as that.

"Medical services" are different than a hospital. It was confirmed that he was taken to hospital by the team and in 99.99% sure there is no hospital in the bubble. The closet one is about 10 minutes away so I doubt they fit a path in to it. He'll likely have to isolate but there may be a loophole around it
