from a hawks fan: fair offer. package from the flames like that would probably need to be a 1st and one of kylington dube or valimaki. but if im the hawks I ideally only want to move him for a solid young LHD or top 6 foward. Is hanifin available?

Not a good fit, playstyle further emphasizes Flames center issues since he has the same flaws as Monahan but more.

He’s only 23 I think he could be a good 2/3c

He is a mediocre skater, as well as not being all that physical despite his size. Literally all the flaws Monahan has but emphasizes them more. I have no doubt he can be a solid 2C just not for Calgary.
