Too much for Risto

I mean, how it see it:
- McNabb = late 2nd
- Tuch = early 2nd atm (st his best he could be worth more)
- Ristolainen = early 2nd + depth piece

Since the 2022 draft looks really good and the Sabres won’t be good for a while, that’s an early 3rd in a good draft. Therefore, I find that the trade is relatively fair since Tuch isn’t a his highest value right now. I do agree that maybe I should add a bit more going to Vegas, but I could see this going through.

This team could be good if Ullmark stays healthy they were 6 points out of the wild card when he got injured. The forward core looks good, and the defensive core is really good.

With the many young developing players currently on the Rangers roster, Strome is much more valuable to the NYR's than the trade value you're proposing.

Rangers will keep him then. Other teams aren't going to pay more than this price for him. He won't have a superstar like Panarin if he goes elsewhere on his line to drive play for him. If someone else acquires him I expect he will revert back to his traditional 40 per 82 point pace and will be on a contract that far exceeds his performance

Not bad for a guy who doesn't follow the team closely. But I think Risto's value is a top 6 forward, not a 2nd and depth. Tuch is a top 6 forward so I think that's a decent return. Also, you don't have Dylan Cozens in the lineup. You've seen his WHL numbers? You've seen his performance during WJC? He is NHL ready and will be on the team

Better job than most Sabre AGM have done.
I am a huge Ristolainen fan, but that trade fills two holes while moving a RHD of which they have four.
I would put Skinner on the second line. Strome will need a more talented winger than Olofsson to get his pts.
I think it is more likely that Cozens will be the #3 center and Thompson will be on the team over Dea and Smith.
Over all a really good job. I only wish I knew other teams as well as you know the Sabres.
Unfortunately we have a really bad coach as good as this team looks on paper, he would find a way to muck it up.

Thanks. Wasn’t sure if I should put Thompson and Cozens in the lineup. Thing is, I don’t know what’s MJ’s trade value and I think Mittelstadt should get a shot at 3C. I do see those two playing with Buffalo at some point next season.
