Please explain why Hank to COL keeps coming up?
COL has a strong goalie tandem costing them 5.3 mil next year and they are contending for a cup.
Why on earth are they going to take on a 8.5mil cap dump ?

Not to mention the rest of the trade isnt close.
Jost >> Andersson
2nd >>>> 5th

NYR literally gets the better player and the better pick and the cap dump?

and it kinda shows (no offense).
Cap Friendly probably needs to implement a certain "like" threshold.
x number of likes in order to create a thread.
It would clean up a ton of these troll posts and low effort AGMs

It wasn't meant to be like this, I just didn't think about Hank's contract. Maybe I should've added something from NY's side.

Gonna presume it's because Hank outperformed both Colorado goalies this season so he'd be an upgrade:

lundqvist-col

But agreed, it doesn't make much now that Francouz is signed. And pretty much any Hank trade would have retained salary.

What are you smoking?
You ARE more clueless then you seem.

Lundqvist 30gp / .905 sv% / 3.16 GAA 10W-12L-3OT
Grubauer 36gp / .916 sv% / 2.63 GAA 18W-12L-4OT
Francouz 34gp / .923 sv% / 2.41 GAA 21W-7L-4OT

Lundqvist put up a weaker save %, GAA and W/L ratio. Not to mention they make 3.33mil and 950k compared to Hanks 8.5mil.
Very funny how your "advanced stats" are missing the key ones (ie. sv % and GAA), you dont even understand the numbers you are copying and pasting LOL

.... ooof this kinda idiocy is the stuff that gets you added to the ignore list.

The reason for these numbers is that they account for shot quality. Sv% and GAA treats all shots as equal, but obviously you're aware that not all shots are equal. Hence why most analysts use Goals Saved Above Expected as the foundation for evaluating goaltenders. It's the best way to measure a goalie relative to the defense in front of them . If you're wondering why Henrik's figure is superior to Colorado's goaltending, that's why.

Not sure why you're quoting team stats though. You seem like the sort of person who'd prefer Brodeur over Hasek lol.

Ladies and Gents, weve got another one.
So lost in the sauce of all these advanced numbers that they miss the glaring ones right infront of their eyes.
Listen, there are 30 other NHL teams with scouts and analytics guys, let me know how many of them are running to NYR to pickup the godly netminder who is Lundqvist.

You seem to be the type of guy to say that St Louis wasnt the best team last year because their Fenwick and Corsi wasnt superior to their opponent lol

Trying to say that "not all shots are the same" and "hey maybe a point blank save is more impressive than a save on an unscreened shot from the point" is lost in the sauce?

It's like you don't watch the games,,,,, lol

The fact that you are trying to argue that Lundqvist had a better statistical year than Francouz or Grubauer confirms you need to put down the calculator and watch the games
