No one knows what Pietrangelo has or hasn't turned down despite people continually saying to the contrary and even if we did know, nothing has even been rumored since the flat cap announcement which has obviously changed everything, limiting not only what he could get from the Blues but also what other teams are willing to pay. 8.5 x 8 might end up being his best offer

If you want Alex Vlasic, you will need to get rid of A LOT more then just Allen

If ur talking about points, hes a defensive defensemen, so chuck the points out of the way. and his college team he was on this year was garbage. they were 13-13-8, he was a -5 which isnt bad for a .500 team

He does play solid enough defense away from the puck, but imo he’s got nowhere near the puck skill to make a positive impact on the ice. He’s a fine player, idk how he was a top-45 pick though.

How has that worked out for Logan Stanley, Gabe Carlson, and all the other massive and slightly mobile defenders taken three rounds too high? I don’t hate the guy, but you can get similar profiles in the late rounds like the Blues have done with Tyler Tucker and Niko Mikkola.

Obviously they took a shot, His points werent bad in the USA Development team, but any defensemen can get 20 points in that group, its what they do outside that, that matters
