If they get him, their top 6 would be filthy. They would just need to figure out a better 3rd line imo

I think moving hornqvist somehow is the right move going forward. he is too expensive to play 3rd line and cant keep up with Sid/malkin in the top 6.

No you’re not getting Lafreniere MTL will gets him
Price got hit by Drouin’s stick after the game and we are calling Kinkaid for the rest of the series

Wouldn’t be the 1st time the NHL rigged a draft for the Penguins. It would be a huge embarrassment if they won the lottery. Imo. Lot of people would be unhappy.lol

Not really? This isn’t like the Pens are walking in with a 0.1% odds at Laf and winning. Every team has the same odds so it’s impossible to truly call it rigged.

Also we’re calling draft lotteries rigged in the Pens’ favour as if 2004 didn’t happen.

I didn't get to see the 1st period. I saw the 1st intermission and going forward. Did Malkin have THAT good a 1st? Jones was VERY complimentary and I thought he STUNK for the 3rd straight game...2nd and 3rd periods. 1 assist on a PP doesn't make a good game. He was a minus 2 and a mostly Ozone start. I thought he was part of the reason they lost. No?

Penguins had the 1st overall or 2nd overall pick 4 years in a row. The NHL absolutely rigged the Crosby draft.

Yeah idk how the worse team in the league doesn’t get the #1 pick ever. They rigged this draft to make the playoffs more appealing. They need to stop bc it’s getting too obvious

I dont think any draft has actually been "rigged". If there was a whistle blower who exposed it, the NHL would just face so much backlash. It really is just about a team getting lucky.

after we got the 3-1 lead the entire team stunk. we completely took the foot off the gas. We had a golden opportunity to really pepper price with shots and absolutely dominate MTL. everything was going our way. But we took the foot off the gas and now we are facing elimination to a very mediocre MTL team.

I think that’s why they over complicate it with numbered balls. Impossible for anyone to actually know WTF is going on.

I don’t know how you can possibly call 2005 rigged when the Pens had the best odds.

I don't see any reason for the Wild to do this.

First, we'll need about $7M each for Kaprizov and Fiala extensions, making this trade puts a big handicap on our ability to do that.

Second, the organization is really high on Kahkonen. He's probably a year or two out yet, but my point is I think Murray is more of a long-term solution in net and we need someone for the short-term (like a Raanta or Fleury).

Third, the goalie market is pretty ridiculous this offseason and I'm sure we can find a goalie who is willing to sign for a year or two (maybe a Holtby looking to prove himself?). That way we don't have to take on Johnson or give up picks.

Oh and we already have way too many blue liners who belong in the NHL, so Johnson would become a $3M press box seat warmer.

Okay then, if that's the case then what do you have to say about Edmonton, besides 2017, they haven't had a pick below 10 since 2008. Is that rigged? Also, 3 1st overall picks back to back to back.

I'd rather have the money and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Besides Murray is only worth a 2nd, and it'll cost a 2nd to dump JJ. It's a bad trade for value and for the cap for the Wild.

Murray should be worth more than a 2nd. The cheaper price on Murray is to include JJ in the trade
