Point is practically untouchable. Great contract and incredible two-way player

I’d love this to happen irl, but there is no way Tampa is gonna give up Point and Johnson with that trade. Throw in a couple draft picks

Tampa says no. Point is a centre , younger and better than gaudreau. Pelletier is good but the trade makes no sense for tampa

Yeah, I though about adding a 2nd or even a 1st.

To me Point is worth a little more than Gaudreau, and Johnson is worth about a 2nd. Pelletier is worth more than a 2nd so I figured the value was fairly close. I'd definitely add though if I was the Flames.

Tampa can move Stamkos back to C and moving Johnson allows them to sign Cirelli.

Gaudreau - Stamkos - Kucherov
Killorn - Cirelli - Coleman

Tampa is going to have some tough decisions to make this off season, that's for sure.

I would much prefer point over cirelli. I love cirelli but why would tampa want t down grade?

Why would Tampa trade. 23yr old Center for a winger who’s 3yrs older???
Makes zero sense
No chance

Point is going nowhere. Teams just don't trade their 23 yr old 1Cs on good contracts.

Tampa declines, Not moving Point and Johnson for 2 years of Gaudreau. Johnson doesn't want to play in Canada. And Point isn't getting moved.

Detroit isn’t trading for one year of Rittich as this phase of our rebuild. If you want to ship him off I’d do a late round pick but not a high 3rd.
