That’s fair but every PIT ACGM will give you a thousand reasons as to why they don’t.

There isn't a snowballs chance Nick bjugstad is traded. Guy had spinal surgery. No one is taking him unless they are getting something to do it. Pens can afford to pay him on ltir.

Minnesota trade isn't terrible. Would rather get more for Murray. I'm still not on the JJ hating side yet. If they can find him a better partner than Schultz he has shown he can be a reliable 3rd pair guy.

I think it depends on the team. Detroit is bad so their chances of resigning him not so good so what ever they give up is for 1yr only.

With a flat cap and no significant cap increases in the near future it might not be so good to trade Murray un less your really sure

With the expansion draft coming they can only protect one goalie. Would rather see them trade one now and get a return than loose one for nothing.
