Description
If the rangers can trade hank at %50 retained then that team can trade hank at another %50 to Washington would that be a good backup for them and to try and get hank a cup

Im pretty sure there is a rule that a players salary can only be retained by a maximum of one other team (other than the team they are currently playing for)

Chance to win cause he’s probably not coming back next year. I’ve seen a rumor of him going to Sweden to play with Joel. Idk he has options but I don’t think any are with the rangers

A players contract can be retained on twice so once by NYR and once by other team with the room for 2125000 cap

It would need to be two teams that he would agree to waive to, Just don't see him doing that. Must just be better to buy 2 years of his contract out.

After this season he has 1 year and I think he would waive to go to Washington at a chance at a cup

No, twice in total as in ex. once by the team who retains and once for the team he plays for.
This AGM is asking for three paying teams, not two.
Once by NYR, once by team X, once by WSH who he plays for

Even at 50% retention, Washington will still have issues affording Lundqvist.

Whatever you just said makes no sense. NYR cap for lundqvist would be 4,250,000 X team would be 2,125,000 then the leftover cap for WSH would be 2,125,000 for example go look at lehners contract.

Just to move him and give him a better chance like maybe we get a 4th and team x gets a 3rd? Idk exactly but very little
