Debrusk has been bad and Ritchie looked great, no reason to punish the one playing well and promote the one that has done nothing

DeBrusk has struggled, indeed. But Ritchie hasn't been " good ", he's been okay at best and slow. Not a top6 guy and 74 will produce more offensively than 21, can guarantee that.
DeBrusk-Krejci/Ritchie-Coyle or DeBrusk-Coyle/Ritchie-Kuraly.

IMO I would give a try to Ritchie-Coyle-Bjork and keep the 4th line together. Play Clifton a game maybe.

Ritchie looked great? Did we watch different games last night? Outside of behind show to get up on most plays and a few hits, he did nothing.

Debrusk normally bounces back after getting sent a message. Give Ritchie another shot with Krejci and Kase and if they dont mesh, put Debrusk back up but Cassidy seems pretty sick of Debrusks play as of late

I guess I'm in the minority here in seeing a lot of good things Ritchie did last game that no one else on the Bruins can do. He makes room in the offensive zone and was very engaged in the physical aspects. Slow? Yes. Dumb penalty? Yes. Defensive liability? Yes. Late wandering hits? Yes. I still want him playing with Krejci. He wears guys down with his size, can handle the puck and makes space. Put Kase or Studnicka or Bjork or even Senyshen on RW. Kuhlman has been a good soldier but he isn't effective, his speed isn't enough.

Bruins need a guy that can produce, especially if he's going to play in the top6. Disagree here, imo he isn't the right fit. Not even sure he can keep it up with Coyle and Bjork but I would give a try. Hopefully it works with Kuraly.

I can see Coyle and Ritchie together. For all the time Debrusk and Krejci have spent together I just don't see the chemistry. I don't think I've ever had a "wow, what a great play!" moment with those two together. Both talented in their own way, just don't see it.

Couple of plays but agreed. If 74 is a better fit with 13, we're back to the original problem: no winger for the second line. Need DeBrusk to get going asap.

Fine with that lineup but I bet Washington rests some starters. Bs are just basically playing for 3rd place.

Why would they rest starters when they are playing for the same spot as the Bruins? I would expect both teams would rather play the NYI then the Whalercanes and to do that they need a win.

Both opponents are equally good.

Man Debrusk has been frustrating to watch... 16:00 last game and his only stat was one giveaway. But i think he has to play 2nd line over Ritchie. I thought Ritchie did some things well, had some bite, played with an edge but it just doesnt fit Krejci well, not enough speed/hands to really bring out the playmaking ability of 46. Maybe with Kase back, that line will come back to life. I think i may try Ritchie on third line with Coyle and Bjork before Stud, but i can go either way. I think these lines are close if not on the nose.

Ritchie-Coyle-Bjork at practice.

That top line in Carolina is really dangerous right now.
