Description
Lets start out by saying sorry this isnt in the forum but i wanted to have a good discussion and nobody uses the forums.... sorry to the people who only came here to say that. My grammar is also terrible im aware NSFW !!

1) Carolina..... Svechnikov is wayyy better than i thought he was. this kid is amazing. ive been very very impressed with him. i was always like "hey! thats the idiot that tried to fight Ovi and got KTFO" not anymore Aho is also really good (i knew this already so sorry it wasnt as hyped as Svechnikov). last point on the Canes bc i hate them. SLAVIN .... best dman in the NHL please change my mind if you can.

2) Carey Price and Toews. now before i get started im guilty of this....im a hypocrite. both these players have been called overrated/terrible contracts/ not good anymore? i think when the games matter both these guys are amazing. Toews looks better than Kane right now. idk his play during the season or if he looks like this all the time but my goodness he looks great..... off topic Weber is still ELITE hes old AF but so so good. just a mean SOB. Price is still amazing highest ceiling of any goalie in the NHL. Price at his best is the best goalie maybe ever.... dont kill me its just my opinion.... Suzuki also looks like a great 2 way gem. not complete sold on him being elite but im expecting im to be great.... Also DACH he looks like hes coming into his own.... really solid player

3) Last points bc if this is too long no one will read it :). Eller left the bubble last night so today you might see McMichael for the first time....im excited. speaking of Connor MCM you gotta feel for MCDAVID guy is really the best player in the world. Pitts/TML struggle against defensive discipline teams.... something both team need to address on the offseason regardless of the open round results. Also Ranges might be further away from being legit competitor than i thought OR Canes are jsut that good IDK

100% agree. Some guys definitely making the most of their opportunity (Weber, Price, Toews)

Also honourable mentions to Dach, Kakko, Kubalik and Marino. Those guys have looked legit imo.

yeah Marino is going to be a stud. all the "bust" rookies looked good. even KK is playing really really well

Yeah, always seemed crazy to me calling guys who aren't even 20 yet "busts".

Dach looks like he's gonna be a Star in Chicago for a long time.Dach looks bigger, faster, stronger than he was all regular season. Toews is playing like it's 2010, but I would say the only reason why people say he looks better than Kane is because the oilers are game planing against Kane a lot more. Kane has still looked really good even if he only has the 1 goal in 3 games. He's generated a lot of chances.

tbh ive done it on here but it was more to balance the outrageous claim that the other player was receiving lol. i try to be less petty now days

Yeah Dach looks great. he plays a mean game and i love it...old school. Main reason i said Toews looks better is Kane sniper ability (imo hes 2nd best feature) is way off. hes missing the net a lot. thats easily corrected when you are an elite talent but ATM it looks off to me
