I think Byfield is better that Stutzle, but I wouldn't bother moving up imo. Especially if LA wants Stutzle anyway, there's no reason to give up an extra asset to get the same player. Make LA make that decision, Ottawa will be fine with way.

That Pitt trade is brutal. Wolanin has a good shot at being good and JJ is flat out bad and has three years left!

I'd rather suffer 1 year of Reilly than 3 more with JJ.

Byfield will be a Senator come the draft. LA is really high on Stutzle, as they should be. Kid is wicked good.

Wolanin could be good but with most people wanting Ottawa to acquire Drysdale in the draft and either trade or sign someone to play with chabot the defence is set for the future with any combo of chabot, brannstrom, JBD, Thompson, Drysdale, Zaitsev, Zub etc there's no room for wolanin

I think that's wishful thinking by Ottawa and their fans. As someone who follows the Kings religiously, I don't see how LA passes on Byfield. Vilardi still has injury concerns, though hopefully he's coming out of those. Even if they pick Byfield, Turcotte has played plenty of wing in the past, and even Vilardi could be looked at on the right. Doesn't make sense to pass on the kid.
