He got 45 points in a shortened season(50 on pace)...he will get about 6M...which is totally fine.

As for defensively minded, that line will hold its own, esp as most nights Lowry's line will play against the top line anyways.

How will that line hold it's own defensively? Laine and Ehlers are improving defensively, but still need help. How is Domi going to come here and all of a sudden become above average defensively when he has never done that in his career?

At 6 he would be okay, depending on term, but I think he will want more, so we would need to know what he wants long term before completing a trade for him.

2 years ago he was a plus 20...If he does that again, I wouldn't care if he sucked defensively...this means that he was on the ice for 20 more(not including PP) goals than he was on the ice for goals against...Its mostly because he wasn't on the ice for many goals against....equaling ok defensively

Plus/minus is a spectacularly flawed stat and not something I would want Chevy basing a major decision on. Domi should be very low on the list of players we go after, unless he comes reasonably cheap.

Anyways, you like Domi and that's fine. With any luck he'll re-sign in Montreal and we won't have to worry about it.
