No from Winnipeg on both trade counts. Perreault only has a year left, so there is no reason to move him and Hartman isn't needed. The offer sheet would be nice, but True North doesn't operate that way.

I mean have you seen this calgary series? Losing Tanev, Chiarot, Buff, Myers, Trouba and Lemieux has clearly made them pretty soft. Adding Hartman is necessary just for the sake of survival in the west

How is Hartman going to stop the Jets from getting injuries? A player like him can be picked up as a UFA, there is no need to give up a promising defenseman for him. We need Niku far more than Hartman.

I would do all three. Perreault is neccessary for cap reasons, Comrie is useless anyways. Niku for Hartman, I would do this for exactly your point...hardnose player.

Niku was a good prospect a couple years ago until everyone realized his defensive game is barely AHL level. The thing about physical forwards is that they always hit a point in their late 20s early 30s where their bodies give out and they can't play anymore. Getting a guy whose 25 and still an RFA after his contract fills the need for more than a year or two, which needs filling ever since Tanev and his 200 hits a season left

MTL have Lindgren who’s useless like Comrie, we don’t need another goalie + we don’t need a 4th 13th forward at 4M no thanks
