The Jets need a 2C not a 3/4C.

Well it's better than the ufa options but yeah it's not ideal.

I can see Pietrangelo in Pitts with this contract. It's an overpay though IMO.
The problem is now you have Marino in the 3rd pairing. He's too good for that.

McCann is better then the Jets current 3C's so that's a good start in itself, McCann is probably a 2/3C, Copp, Eakin, Lowry shouldn't see a second of ice time in the top 6, they're really 3/4C's.

Yes, the Jets have Copp and Lowry to use at 3C/4C, both of which are better options than McCann.

I'm not sure about that. McCann isnt ideal for a 4th line center but hes younger and better offensivly than copp.

I do not know why the Pens do any of these...

Murray for Kylington, 2nd - Maybe, but probably not.

McCann for Appleton, 6th - No.

Bjugstad for Gaborík, 3rd - No. If Bjugstad is healthy he is worth considerably more than the -value of Gaborik + 3rd. If he is not healthy then why would Ottawa make this trade?
