my game 4 lineup

Created by: villenash
Team: 2019-20 Nashville Predators
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 6, 2020

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Hamhuis and Trenin in
Tinordi and Watson out

Forsberg gets some extra shifts with Duchene and Granlund

I want to put Rinne in net, but not sure on this honestly. I wish Rinne played one of the back-to-back games so that he wouldn't be cold and Saros wouldn't feel like the team doesn't want him in net -- but I think I want Rinne for this game. The team tends to play with more confidence playing in front of him. Could be wrong on this, but I'm feeling Rinne.

I'm also feeling Rinne for the next game. I'm also not adverse to throwing Tolvanen onto the 2nd line in Jarnkrok's place, just to see what happens.

I think Jarnkrok has to be in the lineup somewhere. And I added Trenin because he seemed to have instant chemistry with Turris when I watched them play together towards the end of the season, so I like him in the lineup. And it gives NSH 4 lines that should be able to score -- "should" lol. But this team needs to score goals badly, so maybe Tolvanen is a better option. It will be interesting to see what Hynes does as it doesn't really seem like he's done much of anything behind the bench this series.

I wasn't suggesting scratching Jarnkrok, just bumping him off that 2nd line. Jarny can slot in pretty much anywhere. NSH has put up a lot of shots against Kuemper this series, but not enough good ones. It's one of Tolvanen's strengths, and Kuemper wouldn't be familiar with him, so I thought it might be worth the gamble.

I'm so disappointed in Poile for giving Hynes such a long contract, instead of just naming him interim coach for the remainder of the season. There was absolutely no logical reason for that.

I don't love the idea of changing goalies at this point because the team has to play the same way in front of both of them. The 18 guys in front of either goalie need to do their jobs, otherwise it won't matter who's back there. Peks isn't gonna be back there forever.

I think Hynes makes minimal changes. I personally would break up the Bonino line to try to get more people going. Maybe JOFA, 95-13-15, 19-8-64, 23-10-Trenin/Watson? Bonino won't put up with Duchene not being 110% focused.
