I think Detroit would probably acquire Tristan Jarry in your GM world for a similar package if that's all it took to get him. That said, I think the Pens will hang onto both goalies until just before the trade deadline so they can assess them and determine which is the better long-term fit. The other one gets traded so they don't lose them for nothing to Seattle.

Highly doubtful the Wings would have interest in Dubnyk. He is 34 and his tats the last two years are trending down. Helm has on year left whereas DD has two. Not a good fit.

The FLA trade is bad for MN. MN loses their best d-man for a guy that isn't any better than Soucy, a wing that doesn't fit anywhere, and a couple of picks.

No reason for PIT to make that trade.

DET trade is cap dump for cap dump. I don't see why either team does it.

The NJD trade would be a good for gamble for MN. I don't know what Zacha's value is, but it feels light from MN (I'm also really low on Donato).

This surprises me a bit. You're a smart poster but here you're trying to fix a team in one offseason.

Do you like defensive centers? You'll love Zacha!

I just don't know Zacha's trade value. NJD is a team I just can't get a feel for with trades.

Jarry for Hunt, Stalock, 5th

Is that a joke or a troll?

They both have one year remaining? It's a pretty lateral swap if they can't get a UFA goalie.
