I’d consider offering nurse for drouin plus a second.

Idk, a second...?
A lot, I'd give a first+
Nothing
The 8 OA for Domi+ a bit seemed somewhat reasonable to me

I'd do it. Nurse is insane.

I've always loved Drouin. Anything of interest from NYR?

Georgiev is interesting for sure, but I doubt Bergevin is trading Drouin for a backup.

Moving Drouin for a LD is probably what makes more sense, but thing is you need LDs at least as much as we do lol

-Maybe a second at the deadline *if* he's playing really well and a contender needs him.
-I don't think I'd do a 1st for Mete...think he could end up being worth it, but if I were Montreal, I'd be letting him develop and keeping him to fill that hole on the left side. Maybe package him with someone to try to upgrade?
-I wouldn't say "nothing". Maybe a swap for a similar "high upside" player that's underperforming? He just seems lost out there.
-Domi has value, but trading 8 OA in a strong draft seems very dangerous. Arizona traded Tony Deangelo and 7 OA for Derek Stepan and Anti Raanta a few years back...I don't know that they regret it, mainly because you can't predict injuries, but if Lias ever breaks out, that's going to look real, reallllll bad.

I'd do Fowler for Drouin, but I doubt Fowler would ever waive.

Yeah idk
I would, I think he's really underrated and a top 4 guy (not like an ANA first, we have no use for him anyway, but a lotto protected first from WPG, I'd do that)
Drouin sucks and is a few years past the age where players generally stop developing, he's an overpaid 3rd liner and i will not change my opinion on that lol
Yeah, but Domi is also in a different situation than Stepan, Stepan was the worst player on his line, while Domi was generally the best (and never really had consistent linemates) and they still played really well, Domi also had the lowest oiS% of his career, and by far the lowest ipp

Yeah, re: Domi, I know he has a lot to give, but IMO, he's much better served to be a winger, not a center, and Buffalo's biggest need is a 2C while Cozens develops. I just think they can probably find a veteran to fill that hole for a year instead of giving up 8 OA.

I do agree, Mete is pretty good, and has the chance to be a solid top 4 guy, but they should absolutely keep him.

Drouin *should* be able to hit 60 pts with consistent ice time and line mates. He really seems to have fallen out of favor with CJ. I know a couple of guys who played in Halifax with him, and they didn't outright say it, but it seemed like he had an attitude problem. That's obviously a while ago, and people mature, but I wonder if that's the case in Montreal? This is all hearsay, and could be 100% bogus, so don't take my word for it. Just trying to figure it out.
