Most of this is very good and shows what a bright future we have, but that Rakell for Vaakanainen trade is the worst idea you've had this week.

I like Djoos more than Guhle. Apparently, so does management.

DesLauriers and Rowney are the type of fourth-liner that all really effective teams need for depth.

Yeah, Zegras is such a good pick. I've got my fingers crossed that Ottawa passes on Drysdale (Though I think the chances of that are pretty small...). Whoever we get at 6 should be good, and the Boston pick should give the Ducks a chance at a decent RD a couple of years down the road.

i dont think Steel makes sense. But that Carolina pick i think could still be top 20. I think something like Henrique + Jones + 18th for 8th

Not a chance that you get Rico, Steel and a 1st for 8 OA.

I'm not crazy about overpaying for that pick anyway. I'd do Rico for a 2nd and a prospect.

If they're trading Rakell, it should be for a 1st+good prospect. 2 very cheap years of control of a guy who should easily put up 60+ pts when healthy.

yeah. i guess you can add a 1st but Vaak was drafted in the 1st round and is a pretty good prospect

Yeah, but the left side seems like it's reasonably deep long term with Fowler, Guhle, Larsson, Mahura and Lacombe. All of the sudden they'd be looking for a Rakell type player again
