Yes I understand that, but he’s sittin up in the PB using his phone and looking fine. I’ve seen players play through a lot worse, aka broken ribs, and many other injuries. I don’t know why the medical staff would hold him back with a hand sprain.... it doesn’t make sense. Unless he has major ligament or tendon damage (he doesn’t as they’re all expected to recover before training camp starts) he shouldn’t be held out due to a hand sprain lol.

True, but we don't know how bad the injury was. They say a sprain, but we know they never tell you the full extent of an injury. How many times have we seen a Jet player go out and be listed as "day to day" and then be out for weeks or a month.

I think overall the Jets management is extremely cautious with injuries and always holds players out longer than it seems like they should be.

I'm just saying that you can't hold that against a player unless you know the full extent of the injury and what the medical staff thinks about it.

Maybe we decided to tank for a shot at 1OA? sarcasm

Yeah that’s true, jets are always cautious.

Hey I mean if we win Laff it was all worth it.

Yup. We weren't going anywhere anyways if we got by Calgary. As much as I'd like to see the Jets win, this is the more preferable outcome for me, this season.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, even if we beat Calgary, we likely get the #1 seed and then get destroyed.

Am I crazy to think that Laine not playing through a hand sprain is crazy.... it’s the playoffs, people play through a lot worse.

It was his top hand on the stick he couldnt hold it if he wanted to.
