Do me a favour and google awards won by Mitch Marner in his last year in junior hockey with the London Knights and name me another present or past player in the NHL that have ever won that many award in one season of junior hockey. He is truly and elite, elite young hockey player and on the verge of breaking out tonight and finally having more fans realize what a special, special hockey player he actually is and how lucky we are to be able to watch him. He reminds me of the great, great Max Bentley who was nicked named the Dipsie Doodle Dandy the way he skates and stick handles on the ice.

He is still very young and learning the game. I have never seen another hockey player including Ovie who actually can do what Matthews you do with the puck in terms of shooting. Off the charts good.

It doesn't matter if you can't play playoff hockey and defend leads. I don't care if he scores 200 goals in the regular season if the leafs can't figure it out as a whole to be quite honest

Mario, Mike Bossy, Gretzky, Bretzky, Bobby Hull, Ovi and Bure all put up full careers with higher GPG. Pretty astounding.

Matthews definitely has a shot to be great and to be a top 10 or top 20 guy when he retires, but he's a long, long way off from that. He's basically on pace with Stamkos through 282 games.

Do you know who Max Bentley was and what made him such a special hockey player to watch?

The creativity with Matthews it what I really like about watching him score goals. He score goals in such incredible ways and none of the players you mentioned can pull off the moves he does on the ice.
