Description
How you blow 3-0 to the team that was 26th in goals for this year - how you blow it to any team for that matter, is beyond me. It's time for Dubas to cut the crap with this all skill no heart no will bullish**. Don't get me wrong I love it, and with a group that is responsible the high flying offensive method could work, and the leafs could pull it together this postseason. But it's clear that they've got to find the balance of two way heart players, and the top guns.

Lets just say we get laf...

These lines would be for playoffs. Drysdale comes up for the last few regular season games and plays playoffs, similar to makar

I mean its pretty up in the air at #5. I think he's the fourth best player, but I could see Yzerman going off the board given that they have Hronek-Seider already. Maybe a guy like Rossi.

And yes, it is wishful thinking

As crazy as this wouldve sounded a year ago, COL doesnt except that trade.
Nichushkin has developed into a big, speedy, defensively sound cornerstone in the COL middle 6 (with a sneaky good shot too).

Drysdale goes at #3 or #4 IMO.

I can't see him going over Byfield, or Stutzle really. I think he could easily end up better, but not over in the draft. Then I just feel like DET will go off the board will a Seider-esque pick. Maybe not quite as off the board, but like Rossi or someone like that isn't unreasonable

Drysdale at 5 is more likely
Laf, Stu, Byfield, Detroit should take Raymond, if not Perfetti, they won’t take Drysdale due to handedness, He will be there at 5

Pittsburgh says no as is. Pittsburgh will take your overpriced 3rd liner Johnsson if you take Johnson, and you can keep the 3rd.

Reese, Blueger, johnson for Johnsson, Engvall, 2nd

hah what a joke. Johnsson had one injury year. His rookie year was worth the deal and he probably will be worth it next year. Johnson just flat out sucks. If you don't want Johnsson, fine, but it'll take at least a first rounder to dump Johnson's atrocious deal

Pit will have to give up picks to get rid of JJ not have him be a piece for something valuable

Reese and Blueger are worth more than Johnsson, Engvall, 2nd... so the negative value of Johnson is to even it out. Maybe the 3rd instead of the 2nd.

Reese, Blueger, Johnson for Johnsson, Engvall, 3rd

Johnson's negative value is accounted for.

Agree. We don't need Dermott so he'd have to be flipped, and a 2nd round pick does nothing for our immediate cup chances. Nichuskin is a beast.

the negative Johnson value is not evened out. It will take a first rounder to get rid of Johnson. Engvall, Johnsson, and the 3rd rounder all have positive value. ZAR and Blueger aren't worth a 1st rounder +++

Engvall, Johnsson, and the 3rd rounder are worth like a 6th... so technically, positive value I suppose.

No one wants your cap dumps, no matter how nice a coat of paint you try to put on them... that is Johnsson. Love it or lump it, it is the truth.
