Of all the teams looking to head to the lottery as of now, they deserve it the most.

My unbiased opinion, both FLA and NYI are probably most deserving of #1.
FLA because, well, just look above.
NYI because they lost Tavares for no return and the snakes on these forums want to offer sheet Barzal.. shame

I have a deep hatred of Lou and think he's a cheat. Maybe I need to relax a bit. But if he LTIRs Komarov and Ladd then he deserves to pick 31st this yer.

I also think Lou was the one to bury Horton and Clarkson on that island too.

...Colorado should take a run at offer sheeting Barzal grimace

I agree with all of that though. Florida is like the kid in minor hockey that's parents are struggling to afford registration for. He's not very good, but he tries really hard! At Christmas, he wakes up and his parents have bought him a brand new top of the line stick for $400. He's so happy! Then, his first game after Christmas, he accidentally breaks the stick and still sucks. Also: He smells bad.

ahah we never actually agreed to anything after hours of tense negotiation.
Apparently he didnt know who Byram was and I was delusional in thinking WPG had cap trouble, but I digress.

@SuckMyAvs had a well thought out AGM, you should check out:

Saw that earlier! Montreal needs a better prospect to accept the Domi deal, but I liked the idea behind the WPG/COL deal!

nah we taking the lottery win. We need the next forward to hand out $11M to after 18 year-old Nick Robertson who, by the way, is just 18 years old!

I took them to win lottery, so wouldn't surprise me if they get Laf.

Ngl, had higher hopes for them this season. Getting into the top 3 in the Atlantic is tough, but I thought with real goaltending, a loaded offense and an improved defense, they might be able to break through. Unfortunately, Bob was awful, Stralman disappeared, Barkov was a bit disappointing, Trocheck was exiled for lottery tickets and their prospects (Borgstrom, Tippet, Heponiemi, Keeper) have failed to make an impact in the NHL. And now they might lose Dadonov and/or Hoffman in the name of cutting costs. My only bit of hope for them right now (and the situation is pretty dire) would be to look at teams like the Blue Jackets, the Oilers and of course, the Islanders -- there isn't a lot here, but teams succeed all the time by doing more with less. They'll have to if they want to get back to the postseason.

But let's be honest, they're probably screwed next year....

FLA MIN NYI. I will be thrilled if he goes to any of these teams and extremely disappointed if he doesn’t
