I believe Tage is waivers eligible for the next season: does another season in the AHL benefit him? Does it benefit the Sabres more by keeping MoJo on Cozens' wing just as a stable veteran presence?

Funny you say that, cause I had him on that line But I could not afford to keep him, Especially with no cap increase. But I agree, it would, I'm sure benefit Cozens. But at the same time, could Cozens benefit tage's development ?

You absolutely can afford him.

Bonus overages only count against the cap if the team in question exceeds the cap by 7.5% of the cap limit. That means any bonus totals sub-$6.1125M won't count against the cap and you can thus run the team's cap hit right to the ceiling.

If you opt to sign a cheaper #4LW than Girgensons, MoJo is all the more affordable.

I don’t think the Sabres move Montour for just draft picks. I would be a little surprised if Tampa accepts that trade, although I hate to give up Mittelstadt. I expect that Jonas Johansson will get the shot to be the backup, and Hutton will be in Rochester in case he falters or injury. I think Asplund plays 4th line and Larsson and Girgensons walk if they won’t sign for just over $1 million at most.

3. CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS

4. TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS
– 16 players signed for 2020-21

5. ARIZONA COYOTES

Five teams in cap hell.
If Adams starts signing UFA's before these teams start dumping cap, I will be really upset.
I know everyone hated Botterill but he made trades with teams looking to shed cap.
Murray never did that and it cost the team, if Adams does not, it will cost the team.
