No interest in Bellows, but Pulock could be interesting to work a deal around if the Jets don't re-sign Demelo and depending on the contract Pulock is looking for.

The forward group looks good and if Dobson can be a top 4 RHD next season I’d b happy w this

dobson is definitely ready for top 4 min and Aho played with pelech on his offside in 2017 when he was called up to the isles. By mid season, you'd want see toews-dobson, pelech-aho, Greene-mayfield.

I don't know the Islanders prospects well enough. It would all depend on the contract Pulock is looking for.
So it would depend on his contract term and dollars first. Do you have any decent 2C prospects?

Koivula is closest but definitely projects as a 3C.. maybe add Koivula to one of bellows/Wilde/bolduc?

Maybe, or pick(s). Has that been any speculation on Pulock's contract asks?

Koivula will probably end up being a high end 3C , possibly a low end 2C. That’s the only good center prospect we have.

Pulock will get 6 mill x 5 or 6.5-7 mill for 7 or 8 years

that's a lot to give up, ehlers is better than pulock but the difference isn't koivula + bellows.

Pulock is your 1RHD right? Or did Dobson pass him by the end of the year?

The contract could be the problem. The Jets biggest need is 2C, so it would depend on if we can find someone and how much they would cost in salary. But it sounds like we would at least have a basis to work around, player wise, in this deal.

Yes he’s our #1D , but Dobson will be the #1 sooner than later and if WPG would be willing to give up ehlers for pulock, I’d do it.

I get what you’re saying. I think WPG can make this trade and still be able to afford one of domi/Dylan strome

Dobson will be Top 4 by the ens of 2021. Isles make the trade for Ehlers by 2021 offseason

I wouldn't know how I'd feel if Pulock was traded even if that was the return. Also seeing a 7M third line winger hurts (even though everyone plays the same number of minutes)

Ehlers is elite, I would definitely make that trade - and yeah because trotz likes to roll 4 lines it isn’t a big deal if lee is with pageau, who’s more of a 2C than a 3C

Isles can hang on to Bailey for one more year. The Isles will definitely get to put one or more of Boychuk, Komarov or Ladd on the LTIR with how injured all of them have been this year.

Beauvillier-Barzal-Eberle
Ehlers-Nelson-Wahlstrom
Lee-Pageau-Bailey
Martin-Cizikas-Clutterbuck

Jeez, that looks fantastic.
