Sullivan should be given the death penalty for putting him on the second power play all 4 games

I'm intent on bringing him back, but okay.

Also I wouldn't recommend playing Leonard right out of the gates. Let him develop in the AHL a bit at least.

Man did you watch him in Pit? Theres no way we should be playing him in the NHL. Leonard/Blichfeld/Chmelevski are going to be ready to play and i dont want to block that for Marleau anymore

Like 90% yes, he was not getting mad at the sharks, but rather with the lack of interest from teams he wanted to go to

I did. He didn't fit in with their system and also hadn't played for almost 5 months. Marleau wouldn't be "blocking" them. As far as I'm concerned, he's buying time for them to develop. And if we're ready to call up guys like Blichfeld/Chmelevski/Leonard/Bergmann, we can absolutely just scratch guys like Marleau if they're not performing. The beauty of resigning him is that he will be dirt cheap, and on a one year deal, so once the aforementioned prospects are actually ready to make the jump to the NHL, he'll move on or just retire. I'd take him back all day.

Marleau has an iron man streak that has been honored thus far. I think Scratching him would piss him off to no end. I think its time to let go

Maybe, but Doug has all but explicitly said he's coming back. And I'm sure Patty's more focused on beating the all-time NHL games played record than keeping up his iron man streak which is impressive, but won't beat Doug Jarvis' 964 consecutive games if he retires after 2020-21. He only needs 44 more games to beat Gordie freaking Howe!
