they should be praised for what they did. they should also be held accountable for their horrible decision making. a 1st for Reaves, signing JJ for 5 years, trading our prospect pool for Brassard, etc. etc. And that's not mentioning Sullys incredible ability to not analyze problems on the team and make a change. You, as a Pens fan, have to admit that these past 2 years have been questionable from a management standpoint. Just because they won us cups doesn't mean they deserve praise forever, it's called being objective

And just because they've been figured out doesnt mean they deserved to be fired. The 1st for Reaves isn't as bad as youre making it out to be because of past playoff series. JJ is an obvious horrible decision. And the Brassard trade is a no brainer. It wouldve been made 10/10, it just didnt work out. it was a great decision that didnt pan out. You cant fault him for trying to make the team better in the short term

i'm not saying they deserve to be fired. the Guentzel contract and the Florida trade have been bright spots in these disappointing 2 years. I just don't understand how stubborn Sullivan is. How are you going to scratch McCann for tugboat Marleau and keep JJ in the lineup. And as for GMJR, every bad decision he's made as GM has been a bad decision since the day it happened. don't know how you look at Jack Johnson, Gudbranson, Reaves, etc. and think "this is gonna help our team"

The window is rapidly closing imo, swept last year and then technically they miss the playoffs this season

that's what's so painful about this. it shouldn't be this hard to build a decent team around 2 of the top 5 best players of this generation

If they don't win the lotto, do you think they keep this years 1st, likely 15th overall, or do they give next years?

i think they should take this years bc of how deep the draft is. but then again giving picks up a year ahead is so risky

Every team has its normal, rational fans and its idiotic, overreacting ones.
Only difference is some teams' fans have nothing to spoil them
