Not a chance Sens take this trash deal.

It would have to be Dach coming back for us to take Seabrook.

Either that or Seabrook + 2020 1st + 2021 1st --> Zaitsev

In case you didn't notice the Sens have a lot of cap space for the next 2 year and years 3 and 4 are when they will be competing.

Judging by the title don't believe this was a serious proposal

Realistically though, is there any hope that they would actually sit him if he clears his physical? Cuz clearly the team is better without him.

For sure.

JC has not been afraid to do it before we just won a discount playoff series. He should have the ability to roll the best lineup and not get flack.

Agreed that he “should.” Only problem I see is that lots of people always point how you’re suppose to sit a nearly 7 mil player every night. I completely agree with you that we should be able to though. Honestly I hoping he feels he’s capable of more and actually requests a trade.

Deal realistically wouldn't happen, but if Mitchell is as advertised this team could make some noise. I still think we need to find another goalie for next year. If crow doesn't retire then there's just no way I can see him playing 60 games + the playoffs next year. Delia isn't good enough to split the time either. If they thought he was then they wouldn't have signed Lehner last year. And Delia didn't show anything in rockford or raining camp that says he's made that jump yet. We should be heavily looking into the penguins goalies, Georgiev, Markstrom, or Lehner is he has any desire to come back
