This is a list of young wings and defenseman who could do very well with the ducks (note while there point totals and abilities may seem low the ducks have a habit of turning these kinds of players into gems)

Roslavic (tonnes of Potential)
Hartman (has so much potential)
Simon (analytics show something big in him)
Benett (needs out of the flames)
Jankowski (same reason as benett)

Defense

Deangelo (ducks could use a young offensive RHD and he could play on the third pairing and help them with their pp)
Niku

I like all of them tbh. Most probably wouldn’t be to expensive except DeAngelo.

I'm so sick of hearing about Ryan Hartman's potential. He's going to be 26, and he's played over 300 games. He's a useful player, but he's a depth guy, and that's all he's ever going to be.

His potential landed the hawks a first and a prospect back in the day 😎

That trade was peak "everybody needs to help the Chicago Blackhawks". Here's a 3rd for Scott Darling, here's two 2nds for Andrew Shaw, here's Richard Panik for an AHL player. There was a time where teams could not wait to get their hands on spare parts from the Chicago Blackhawks.

Even at the time that was a terrible trade. He was only 23, but nothing about his career to that point suggested that he was more than a 3rd liner. They ended up getting Nicolas Beaudin and Philipp Kurashev from that deal which is ridiculous.
