Maybe switch Nurse with Chiarot and maybe add MTL’s 2022 1st pick instead of 2nd round pick. It’s a huge pay from the Habs but if they think that they can compete and be in the playoffs, then I can see this trade be a good one. Not sure if Winnipeg will accept however.

Your offer is ridiculous for a single player. Theres no point in trading for Laf if it means trading Suzuki or KK for him. A solid 2C with skills and speed (what the jets need), a top 4 skating dmen (which they badly need), a mid first and a first next year (since VAN pick goes to MIN after their win) is really solid.

I think theyd rather have the offensive abilities of Nurse. With MTL first they could then draft a guy like Schneider. I thought about replacing Drouin with Tatar in that deal since Holland knows Tatar well and that hed be a great fit with this team. This lineup would be amazing :
