I couldn’t figure out if I want him or if I wanted a veteran like Weber or Doughty. In the end I went with a veteran

He will be 32 (I think) by then. A bit younger than Weber so I thought he may be a bit more useful to the team. I think he could still contribute on a team with this kind of talent in a short tournament. I should move Dougie into the 3rd RD though

Disagree. Cale Makar will be there though. Aaron Ekblad and Ryan Ellis are worth consideration too.

Ekblad for sure but I don’t see Ellis. I like Parayko a lot but Ekblad definitely could take his spot

He's better than O'Reilly and Barzal

Barzal’s hands are almost as good but he can skate. O’Reilly is an excellent defensive forward and we need a fourth line that can go out on the ice and shut down an opposing teams best line. You could have Tavares take Marner’s spot although I’d still prefer Marner’s skating down the wing.
