Man it's really, really hard to accept the idea of trading Hertl, but the idea of dumping the worst contract in the league with no retention is very, very intriguing too...

I dunno man I feel like the Sharks have to accept this one...

San Jose accepts for the same reason MTL rejects lol. Like I said, this is too lopsided a deal for us to not take. I know it's not realistic, but in a theoretical sense, there's no way we decline this.

SJS would be crazy not to do that, and then MTL could say they have not 1 but 2 of the worst contracts in the NHL.
