I just have a hard time seeing Montreal re-signing Petry, Tatar, Gallagher, Danault and Domi. 2 of them will get traded imo

Domi and Tatar are ones to trade

Yes, Panarin is incredibly good and has made Strome a lot better. But why trade a younger 2C away from Panarin for a 31 year old who is a 35 point player?

Because you need a 2 way 3C to fit this team.

I wanna say that’s a steal of a deal for habs should take it and run but it’s hard to tell if they are attempting to be competitive or rebuild with the age of roster. Habs are toughest team to understand direction of.

No thanks from the Caps. Eller is a perfect 3C for us, and I'd say he's one of the better 3Cs in the league. I don't trust Strome to get the job done without playing with high skill players.

Tatar and Domi likely to leave, one way or another ( trade, UFA)

Was on pace for 43 pts his first half season with NYR with a bad team...

Danault is one of the best 2way forwards in the game theres no way he leaves mtl for anything less than a#2-3 lefthanded D with a few proven seasons . we ll swap Danault for Domi and you can keep lias

If he can do it without Panarin carrying his line, then sure. From the handful of Rangers games I watched it was clearly Panarin driving play and facilitating all the offense with Strome getting piggyback points.
