Jason Spezza sparked the Leafs to win game 4 of their their playoff series over the Blue Jackets by showing his teammates what heart means to a hockey team after watching the Leafs give up six unanswered goals in the series and the team on the verge of elimination and trailing 3 to 0. We are talking about a 37 year old, future hockey hall of famer dropping his gloves to fire up his team and inject some emotions and not give up and who sparked one of the greatest comebacks in hockey playoff history by the Leafs with 3 goals scored in the last minutes of the game with the goalie pulled to tie the game and then a winning goal in overtime. This is a player who grew up a Leafs fan in Toronto who agreed to play minimal minutes for the lowest amount of money the club could legally agree to pay him because he has had a dream to try to win a Stanley Cup as a Maple Leaf since he was a kid. Hockey fans need to appreciate Spezza tonight and realize what a truly great player and career he has had in NHL for a long time but more importantly what kind of heart he has as player. The Maple Leafs team is going to repay Spezza tonight big time and will be on fire to win this game for Spezza and I have a really strong feeling this is going to be a great night to be a Maple Leafs fan.

I agree with most of what you said and spezza is a winner always been a big fan of his but calling him a future hall of famer is a huge stretch of the imagination.

I mean, the leafs played like trash for more than a full period after the fight and Columbus scored the next goal. But sure.......momentum
