Nah Ruotsalainen is a good prospect was a PPG in Liga he can turn into a good player. Bozak wouldn’t move the needle in Buffalo.

Oilers would be interested but these clubs will have a tough time coming to a deal since we gotta ship money out to make him fit and your likely looking for the cap space savings unfortunately unfit trading partners

Only way i see Buffalo trading for him is if we are desperate & just can’t make a better deal
We need a 2C, not a declining 3C... so it would be a last resort

I’d rather have McLeod. He could grow in to a Bozak in my mind.

I fully agree I more meant this isn’t the type of deal oilers could even do. It would have to be a real contract going back not an elc. Not only is the money tough to work around but oilers don’t have a prospect pool deep enough to fish in and with two seconds gone for a player I have a hard time justifying qualifying I don’t see it getting deeper any time soon which isn’t terrible but means prospects do have are worth more to oilers than to others.

Sabres are in desperate needs for a quality 2nd line centre behind Eichel. Like Bozak or not, he can be that guy. & if it means possibly keeping Eichel from demanding a trade it's worth it. Or would you rather have a prospect and lose Eichel? Your choice I guess.

You really think Bozak’s 30 points will change anything?! Lmao.

The only one of these that interests me at all is the EDM idea. I'd be fine with the NYR trade if they keep Andersson. Not everybody agrees, but I think he's a talent waster.

Don't have so much tunnel vision from one season. He's had better seasons before when he was given a better role in Toronto. He didn't have as much offensive responsibility in St. Louis, but he had multiple 50 point seasons (right around there) before. He's shown that he capable of it

But don't worry, I highly doubt he'd waive his M-NTC to go to Buffalo. No one wants to play there. It's a terrible organization

I think they can find better options Ruotsalainen, is one of their best prospects that can play in the NHL this year.

Players have been waiving, but couldn’t imagine Bozak waiving due to playing in Toronto he probably knows first hand about the Sabres organization.

I agree about Andersson, but I don't think New York does it unless they dump him. He's cheap and only signed for a year, so I think the Note could swing it.

I just don't get why some Sabres fans are so dead set against Bozak, he's a stopgap for a year till one of Middlestadt or Cozens is hopefully ready for the job, he's a veteran who's won a cup and there really isn't a lot of options out there for 2C unless you want to play a steep price which most don't want to do, you could do worse.

I agree. We Blues fans don't really want to move a guy who wins faceoffs, can score 30-50 points, plays every night, and plays defense up the middle. He's not a superstar, but he is a guy who helps you win the small parts of the game, which are needed to win games. I'm sure Armstrong would like to keep him, but he needs to move salary and we have Sunny and Barby to fill the position.

Bozak isn’t a 2C
And he’s nowhere close to a “QUALITY” 2C

Nice try

Yeah I agree, just makes no sense to be so against acquiring a one year stopgap that's basically free to acquire and at the very least it's some depth in case injuries happen, like do they think they're getting Hertl for a 7th round pick?.. Lol

And the Sabres could probably really use another veteran for this upcoming season, Bozak seems like a good fit for them.

Lol. What I meant was:

1. I commented that before the Leafs lost, so being "bitter about my team losing" made no sense if the comment happened before the lose.

2. You're trying to chirp about losing a play in round, yet your team couldn't even get in it with a 24 team format...

Troll elsewhere. You're in no place to be chirpin kid...

I’m not the troll here
YOU are the one that STARTED talking ****, not me

Good luck with your wildly unrealistic Freddy Andersen trades
Not getting a 1st
Not getting two 2nds either... you’d be lucky if u got one

And now all the Leafs fans are crying bc u didn’t get Lafreniere... boo hoo hoo 😢😢😢
