But Detroit can sign Anderssen as an FA when you guys can no longer afford him...
Or any of the other goalies having to move owing to the cap crunch.

Wings are not giving up two high 2nd round picks for a 30yo goalie on 1 year contract. Please Stop!

There are a finite number of starting goalie jobs in the NHL and Bernier is just fine for the moment. We don't have any need to pay.

Comparing Vegas to Wings is rich, my god the Andersson is 30 and had an average series against Blue Jackets and Stone was 27, when traded and was stud in Ottawa. Totally different. I would not want Andersson, as I think he is good, but overworked of late and not playing behind an elite team will show more cracks.

There will be a lot of younger goalies hitting the market this year and next due to cap issues and expansion draft.
