Why would Jersey, a rebuilding team, trade their 23 year old starter for a 30 year old rental? Horrid for the Devils

Needed a cheaper goalie than Andersen to get underneath the salary cap. Does not necessarily have to be Blackwood, but he would be the best available. I was struggling with whether to trade Andersen for picks and then sign Lehner or this.

Leafs need to shake up the roster a bit You can not keep the same forward group together. They are too soft on the wings and need a bigger upgrade on D if they are moving away from Anderson
