What do you mean? He was -34 3 years ago in Colorado. He's a forward on the blue line, you got exactly what you should have expected

The Preds can't afford to give up any of our top end defensemen - we don't have the depth for it.

he just did not mesh at all, and given the cap, i dont think they will pay 5.5 for a guy who doesnt fit and isn't responsible defensively.

He still went from being a top 4 player in Colorado to a 3rd pair PPQ, he gets points even in bad years but leafs dont pay him or want him back.

Oh for G-d's sake.

1) That's only if he falls that far, which is questionable,
2) He doesn't solve the problem right now (the Preds are still trying to compete)
3) He's a LHD, and you're talking about taking away Ellis from a team whose RHD depth behind him consists of one rookie, a guy who can barely hold a job in the AHL let alone the NHL, and the crushed hopes and dreams of Preds fans everywhere. So that's not even a solution to the actual problem.

It's not happening. Move on.

I'm not one to suffer fools gladly, particularly when they double down on their foolishness. If you want to debate, do the research.
