Why would a rebuilding Detroit give you picks and young players for older and underperforming players?

Murray isn't worth a 3rd rounder, especially after PIT screwed themselves starting Jarry in a critical game. And you are going to have to pay someone to take JJ (getting any picks back isn't in the cards with JJ and Bjugstad).

If you want to use those pieces in the trade, it should look like this:

DET sends Glendening and Nemeth
PIT sends JJ, Bjugstad, Murray, 2020 5th round pick, Hallander.

Honestly, I'd rather buy him out but i know that won't happen. We got an aging boat anchor and a underwhelming injury prone loaf. It sucks, no one wants them lol
