Only an ok signing because it's cheap and essentially a nothing deal. He either proves he's a player this year or he's a bust. This is his last chance, if he can't make DETROIT at 24 then he's just not an NHLer, and I agree he probably runs off to the KHL at that point. Should at least provide some depth to the Griffins this year.

He's only 23, but if you'd have told me he's 29, I'd have believed you. There's nothing there, it's time to move on.

A couple injury plagued season really derailed his development. Hopefully he comes back 100% and can prove these haters wrong. If not, we’ll prob lose him to waivers when he’s demoted
