Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Even if we dont get Laf im just glad hockey came back. And theres always next year. Best Luck to Everyone

Vancouvers pick will probs be in late 20's so its fair. If Arizonas pick is lower we will take that instead. NJ gets a top 6 wing who can score 20+ goals. Toronto gets a new 3C and a top 4 RHD.

If not what would u change

Vancouver's pick - unless they make it to either the WCF or the Stanley Cup Final - will be #19.

Nylander and Holl for Zacha and Severson is almost even. I can't see Toronto squeezing out a top-20 pick out of the Devils too.

Holl's like two steps above being NHL replacement, and Severson is a criminally underrated defenceman that's playing phenomenally on a horse's ass of a team. Zacha's a cheaper Kerfoot. Maybe tone it down on how good you think Toronto's players are a notch?

Would you do the trade if you switch Holl for one of Dermott, Sandin, or Lilgegren?

I would do Dermott, thats fine.

So (Dermott + Nylander) for (Severson + Zacha + whichever of your 1sts is the lowest)

Ton it down? .. Zacha is a bust. Devils would be lucky to get a late 2nd for him right now, likely a 3rd. Severson is a slightly better version of Holl. He's all offence, and a good puck mover. No defence to his game. Add in that Holl is cheaper as well. And there's not much reason for Toronro to make that swap. Plus you think adding in Nylander (a 30 goal scorer) makes it almost even? .. that's not hyping anything up. That's just ridiculous that you think it's even close to even.

Gotta remember I cheer for the dogpile that thought Hall for Larsson was a really astute move.

God it wasn't.

Have to disagree with you here, and I’m fairly high on severson. But it is still a bit of an unknown. He has been inconsistent at best. Is that his teams fault? I think so but I’m not betting nylander on it.

Seversen would need to be great, or in Toronto he gets eaten alive.

I think the trade as posted is fair but I don’t think I would pull the trigger. Too risky. I think if you move nylander it has to be for a sure thing. I think the pick is the fallback clutch.

yeah the main thing i was going for was depth by which trying to keep our offense the same while buffing up the dcore

Kerfoot would make a nice top 6 LW and Zacha is a solid 3c. Severson has that potential to make an impact and can do very well with Rielly. The late 1st is also a good addition. Its a gamble but honestly I could see Dubas doing something like this during the offseason.

I really don’t think dubas does anything with the big 4.

I mean the leafs could always get Cernak and make the cap work with modest moves.
