Why would the Pens give up anything valuable to move him? They could bury him in the end

They’re not going to give up assets to move a guy they can bury for a couple year and then buyout

Not sure how you consider this a "blow up" … This team looks painfully average and will never get a high pick in order to rebuild properly. Rodrigues for a 5th really blew this team right up!

The only thing I didn’t do is trade Guentzel because I don’t think they’ll actually do it. Malkin has limited trade value now and Sid isn’t going anywhere
