I can promise you Muzzin isn't getting moved. Pretty sure he has a M-NTC too.

I think one of the issues with Edmonton is that they are Center heavy. You have McDavid, Draisaitl and RNH who can/are all 1st line centres. It’s not always about the best players. It’s about having the right players in the right positions. McDavid and Draisaitl at 1 and 2 Center is lethal. Neither should be playing the wing and neither should RNH. And RNH should not be 3rd line Center.

Your probably right that he isn’t getting traded. But I think if he had a choice to go to Boston he would probably go for it.

Idk man. He's a hometown boy who just resigned a team friendly deal with an NTC. I think he's happy in Toronto.

Terrible, terrible trade for Edmonton. Not least of which because they’re in cap trouble already and can’t afford to take on Krecjis contract even if they wanted to. Which they almost certainly don’t.

People need to stop with Carlo & DeBrusk to Toronto. Boston and Toronto are not making a trade that involves those kinds of pieces. AHLers sure, but they are not trading players that help the other team.

Yes there is a team that needs re-tooling...but its Toronto not Boston. A division rival, Boston in this case, is not going to help a sorry organization like the Leafs.

“Toronto needs some good young players on smaller salaries to free some cap space.” Never going to get this help from a division rival...ever.

I seriously gave thought to the Oilers moving Draisaitl during the off-season (last season). It would be unpopular but it would have immediate impact on the Oilers performance. Then again, look the the model ( the Pittsburgh Penguins ) and see how two elite centres contributed to championship teams.

The Oilers will be hard press to resign RNH. Move him while his value is high.
