I dont see Eichel being moved this year, Nylander's name has come up for Toronto & he can move back to center but Larkin is the player i like best if your looking to acquire a Center.

Not sure if a package of
Filip Chytil C
Tony DeAngelo RHD
Alexandar Georgiev G
NYR 2020 1st round pick (CAR) 16-31 overall
would get it done.

When did points become advanced stats HAHAHA. Basic numbers to the league don't support your claim, but sure I'm the one that doesn't know what I'm talking about. I'm not talking about being untouchable, I'm saying that you saying "Incredibly good is quite generous" is laughable because he more than incredibly good. It is funny that now in this post you call him a great player. So somehow in your eyes he's not incredibly good, but he's a great player? At this point your contradicting yourself and you seem like the one that doesn't know what your talking about.

While Detroit isn't my #1 team, I follow them as much as I can. Pavel Datsyuk is my favorite non-Bruin of all-time and I've had a soft spot for Detroit because of it. Is Larkin "untouchable" as they say? no, because no one is untouchable. Is there value to Detroit in Larkin being a hometown kid and star of the team who puts fans in the stands? yes, there's a lot because these are business and their goal is to make money. This deal doesn't entice Detroit to trade Larkin:

Miller - Has top 4 upside, but is still an unknown, wasn't great this year for Wisconsin either.
Wall - Solid goalie prospect with a solid NCAA career, but that doesn't always translate to NHL success. Goalies usually take longer to develop as well
Strome - Product of Panarin, good #3C but that's it

That leaves the draft picks where are just more unknowns. So Please tell me how this package entices Detroit to trade a 24yr old 70pt center that is a fan favorite and puts people in the stands aka generates revenue.

Well Larkin has never been in the top 20 producing centers in the league so I assume you were referring to advanced stats.

Anyway agree to disagree - but we can agree that Pav is one of the best ever. My favorite of all time.

From 2017-2018 to 2019-2020 season among all NHL center at 5v5:

1. Connor McDavid - 185pts
2. Leon Draisaitl - 158pts
3. Nathan MacKinnon - 154pts
4. Brayden Point - 141pts
T-5. Steven Stamkos - 137pts
T-5. Auston Matthews 137pts
7. Claude Giroux - 133pts
8. Mathew Barzal - 132pts
9. Aleksander Barkov - 131pts
10. Evgeni Malkin - 130pts
11. John Tavares - 128pts
12. Sean Couturier - 125pts
13. Sidney Crosby - 123pts
T-14. Evgeny Kuznetsov - 121pts
T-14. Dylan Larkin - 121pts
T-14. Sebastian Aho - 121pts

There are only 13 other centers over the last 3 years that have produced more points at 5v5 than Larkin. Outside of maybe Barkov, all these guys play for contenders, while Larkin plays for one of the worst teams in the league.
