Obviously, the current group is not working... We need some help on the back end, and as much as I love Freddy, he hasn't been able to get it together in an elimination game.

Frederik Andersen is worth way more than an AHLer, a 3rd round pick and an LTIR contract, and Kuemper is worth way more than a 3rd line winger, that's Arizona's starting goalie who's established himself as a clear cut #1.

Johnsson is nowhere close to being equal in value to arguably the best goalie in the world (when healthy) over the last two seasons.

Replacing ceci with dumba is not a step forward as far as defence is concerned. Although I thought our defence was fine. It was the offence that wasn’t working.

I understand, it's more of a cap clear, as he will want an extension and we won't be able to afford him going forward, and I believe it's time for a change between the pipes. Better to make it now than later.

I agree, but it silences most critics as we've added help on the back end?

Well don't expect anyone to pay much, if any, more for him
