I really don’t think the jets should do that, it’s more about the fit of the players then the value

I'd be shocked if De Angelo and Strome got you more than 10th overall in this draft.

Pavel 1 year at 3.25 or Cirelli 3 years at 4.75, I will take the center. If you make it a first and retain some maybe

Top 6 center or they don't trade him. If they can't get one, they'll keep him.

P.S. No thanks to Strome, unless you're lending Panarin to the Wild during their games to ensure he keeps propping up his numbers. I'm ok with sharing if you guys want to use Panarin when the Wild aren't playing.

I don't see the Jets having interest in either player.

TB does bridge deals. Point did 3 at 6.75, Cirelli not at that level. Cost of living, no state tax, great team chemistry, and Tampa has always rewarded players after the bridge.

Considering you thought a backup goalie was enough, not sure who is the one dreaming here. I'd rather they extend him and keep him.

NHL has done 4 OS in the last 10 years. I think there is an unwritten rule among the GMs. I like Cirelli a lot. Great defense. However he needs to improve offensively, most of his goals are dirty goals in front of the net, needs to have a better shot. Face off percentage under 50% that needs to get better. Still young so can grow but I don't think I'd do 6 at 6 yet.

State tax is only impactful if you're talking about a couple hundred thousand dollars. its 12.7% in NYC, which sucks, but the difference in take-home pay between 6 mil in NY and 5 mil in Tampa is +100k in NY's favor. And the cost of living isn't as important when you're making as much as pro athletes are and you're buying your place, which is benefitial in NY bc property appreciates wayyyy more there than in Tampa
