Our young backup goalie and a third round for two cap dumps? Doesn’t seem very fair for the Ducks

Call me crazy but I wouldn’t accept that if I was a hurricanes fan.

Johansson isn’t a Cap dump at all,
I’ll give ya Hutton though

But don’t put too much thought into it
This guy is a philly fan

Johansson is an good experienced player who can be a good player and rolemodel for anaheims rebuild and with Gibson as the starter I don't see the need for stolartz, Hutton can be a good backup for a year or two, until guys like Eriksson ek could take the back up job.

that's why I know that stolarz is not a starter, maybe a backup on a good day

Well I doubt they want RR so take him out, whats the gap between aho and eichel. I don't think its so big that they give alot of assets for it.

Given his play this playoffs I’d take Aho over Eichel. Aho is fantastic and his contract is great.

The difference isn’t worth gutting the lineup for

Would you do one for one Eichel vs Aho?

3 extra years of control is good. Aho is our guy though so, the sentimental value makes it a no.

Each one fits their team so Buffalo might be more willing to do it if Eichel asks out than Carolina would

You’re not, the trade favors Buffalo heavily, Aho don’t much of a drop off IMO

the sabers don't make it easy to let Eichel show his post season game, and remember that Aho accept a offer sheet. and you say it was because he loves Carolina.

It doesn’t matter. The difference between the two is not substantial to make this worthwhile for the Canes to consider, especially cause it gets rid of Trochek who they just added to shore up their center depth.

His almost 40 goals this season whipped away any offer sheet issues. On top of that, seeing how Tom Dundon and Waddell does business K don’t blame him for pursuing one. I have little doubt the management were coming off a 8 year deal. Aho wanted something shorter to bet on himself.

I’d rather Aho. I’m not nearly as high on eichel as most people. I think he’s a great player and all

While that’s probably true, bc Aho is really coming into his own,
the only way Eichel would be traded is for an overpayment of assets

This can go on forever. Neither team would just wanna do a 1-1 for no reason neither team is going to have any reason to feel obligated to add. Only way either team can justify asking for more is if a trade demand was the cause then one side has leverage.

Blah, blah, blah
Eichel isn’t getting traded
If at some point he does, it will be for a ridiculous return
That’s the bottom line
