I think Malkin or Letang are also on the way out, hopefully with Johnson tied to them, at least most of his salary going with him.

They won't trade all of those guys and I really think it will be tough to sell a Malkin trade to Sid, but we are about to see a different core imo. I think the trio gets broken up this year.

POJ is our top Defense prospect we dont have Addison anymore. Why trade him away when he is an in house option to fix the bottom pair. Id look more at trading McCanns RFA rights to someone as part of a deal for a 3C

You didn't read what I said. I said one or the other. Malkin could very well ask for a trade and then JR would keep Letang. Malkin asked for a trade last year and said, me or Kessel.

He could do it again if he is tired of Sully or the system. I said I think they trade one or the other, not both. Trading Dumo would be a mistake and people seem to love that idea. Dumo has been everything you could ask and more as a traditional Dman getting paid 4 mill per.

Malkin isn't gonna go anywhere. Neither is Letang. I've never seen anyone say Dumo should go? He's one of the most underrated defenseman in the league.

I'm not pushing for Malkin or Tanger to go, although I do think we could win a title without Letang, as we have done in the past.

I wasn't saying that you or the post thinks Dumo is expendable per se. I just see a lot of posts in here that trade him. Dumo, Marino, and Petersson should be the untouchables at this point in time.
